My Special Christmas Eve

While operating a small, mixed irrigated farm in southern Alberta, I noticed this small miracle. The four birds only roosted in that manner for that one night. Similar accounts have been recorded over the years, something unlikely to happen in an industrial setting.

About James

As a semi-retired senior, I researched the story of the lost gold bars of Camp McKinney. My years in agriculture allowed me to comfortably search the rugged BC forest uncovering valuable clues over the years. Although I have paid a high cost for my unwavering search, I have once again seen the magick and power in nature.

    Hello James,

I was initially researching areas in the Okanagan that I could take my kids to pan for gold in the summer and I came across your blog. After reading more details on the story of the robbery in 1896, and reading the research that you have shared about the people involved, I’ve become captivated with the story. I read that you feel your close to finding it, and I’m cheering for you. I live in kelowna and I’d love to sit down and have a beer with you and hear some of the stories that you have to tell of your adventure as a researcher and treasure hunter.
I’d like to be of some assistance over the summer or late spring, I’m always up for a good ol fashion adventure.

I wish you all the best and a happy new year,

    Shaun Johnston
